Description
Alex MacLean discusses "Aerial Interpretations: The Connection between Agriculture and Climate." The focus of Alex's aerial photography for the past 10 years has been on the causes and effects of climate change as seen through land patterns. He is now focusing his photography on food production and agriculture in relation to climate change. Agriculture accounts for roughly 20% of our greenhouse gas emissions yet through better practices we can greatly reduce these emissions and sequester significant amounts of carbon in our soils. The aerial images he is creating for this project are intended to raise awareness about our food systems in relation to public health and climate change.
